About Mundaka

Mundaka — Good Food & Smoothies is a breakfast, brunch and smoothie restaurant on Avenida Pastor Díaz, in the center of Jacó. We open every day at 7:00 AM and serve until 2:30 PM.

Our name comes from Mundaka, one of the most famous waves in the world, and the whole menu follows that spirit: every bowl, smoothie and breakfast is named after a legendary surf break — from Pipeline and Uluwatu to Costa Rica’s own Pavones, Roca Loca and Hermosa.

We make everything fresh: smoothie bowls loaded with fruit and granola, 22 oz smoothies and cold-pressed-style juices, typical Costa Rican breakfasts with gallo pinto, omelettes, crepes, waffles, salads, sandwiches and wraps. Most of the menu is vegetarian, and we’re happy to adapt dishes.
